Mountain vacation

Our yearly vacation with the spider family....We use to go to the beach for a week, but any more there are to many of us... 46 is the number if every one goes and nobody wants to miss out... it gets pretty crazy...  So the last 3 years we went to the mountains for 2 days n it works out pretty good...

Our vacation started out with my hubby the kids and I going to wiellers with my family on Monday morn... spent the day there swimming, the men had some pretty hot ball games going..and the women do what they do best sit around and chat or half the time in my case is run after the kids... We do this yearly to with  Lee Kings family.. It just happen that both things where planned for the same time..and this pregnant momma did not wanna do both but her hubby got her convinced that it would all work out..  and he was right again.. not that I wasn't exhausted  because come Wednesday morn I was totally done....exhausted....

So Monday eve around 5 we headed for the cabin .....everyone was already in a crazy mood when we got there so all we could do is join right in....

around midnight we where all sitting around the camp fire... and out the woods came this guy, he looked like a homeless guy.. he had his one pant leg rolled up, had a backpack, a big cane, from a distance he looked really scary... but the closer he came you could tell he had a mask on and he was playing a prank on us... till it was all said and done it was Calvin dressed up...but he gave us a good laugh....it was so funny watching everyones expressions!!!!!!!!!!!  when that was all over Amie took Lebron inside cause he was so scared, he started reading him a Dr Suess book... which in his mind he thought it would be a good idea to bring it out to the rest of us that where still relaxing by the campfire... let me just say I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard....I think  someone might be getting a  Dr Suess book for Christmas.....:) I think what topped it off is us all taking a turn reading one off the stories...which were tongue twister ryming ones...........to funny...

 was so much fun watching these 3.... I think they finally get what playing nice together means...how bout it Lydia....they might actually grow up to be pals...


then what topped it off for the kids was a candy scramble.. not my favorite thing but they love it ...

I got this mom.... wow that's a lot a candy.. he was so proud of himself!!!

the girls and there friends....they played as hard as they could.....our girls thought we should stay 2 nites that would b funner...ya maybe for them!!!!

all in all it was a fun 2 days.. now next year it our turn 2 plan.... gotta think ahead....

      my hubby outa town 2nite so I guess i'll go cuddle with the kids.....:)

Family night.....

It was a warm Sunday..  We had a busy Saturday at Gap park with my husband playing in tournament that his brother gets together every year..   they played 4 games, won 1 n lost 3...  but they had a good time any way... the tournament lasted till around 9 and ya even tho we were out we still stayed till it was all over.. that just how we roll....

     anyway back to our relaxing sunday.... we slept in, had breakfast out under the shade tree, read awhile, took a long needed nap...then we had a fun night on the deck.........

 it was a really warm day..but the nice thing about living in the woods is when the sun goes behind the trees n there's a good breeze goin it is wonderful....mid afternoon our front yard is all shade..I love it.. but the down fall of it is all the leaves in the fall.. so you take the good with the bad.....

then it was time for watermelon and smores....... cant get any better then that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
