" SPRINGTIME"

We welcome you spring with open arms... seeing the children playing outside last evening was so filling to this mother's heart.... even if it's in the MUD.. and I have to repeat myself again and again to come in thru the basement....  I'm just excited to have them spend time outside and not have them put layers upon layers of cloths on...

We have had some crazy weather this past week.. we had very strong winds on Thursday evening the 13...which we woke up to this fence being on the ground...

Then on Saturday weather in the 50's and it was beautiful... we ended up raking some of the yard which was so not in my plans when I woke up but I decided to take full advantage when my hubby said lets help each other...it don't get any better then that:)

we even had to rake around some snow piles....

seriously looks so much better....

 we had a taste of spring... then Monday morning we woke up to a couple inches of snow...and a 2 hour delay.... but didn't stay on the ground long because the next couple days we were back to spring like weather... and yesterday was the first day of SPRING.... so its coming peoples... I'm so ready to work in the yard but I no it wont be as easy with a 4 month old so I'm gonna enjoy these next few weeks yet before its a must to get out there.... he is such a blast right.. its almost like he expects someone in his face at all times when he's awake but really why shouldn't there be right I mean after all there are 7 of us here to give him attention....he started coughing on purpose to get our attention sometimes... but really he don't have a chance he gotta grow up fast to keep up with his brothers
I so want to enjoy this season in our life to the fullest and take every thing in.... 
PRAYER IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE THE MOTHER GOD WANTS ME TO BE.....
  we love you baby Austin...

and then this little/big guy ends up with chicken pox..... have no idea who he was in contact with be he got them good... but being the trooper he is he never complains....  I might have to take a lesson from him....:)

I was again reminded this week that GOD is in control....  when we heard that this baby died the day of his mothers sisters wedding, I wondered why, why would our God choose to take him almost the same time that they were saying their vows, I mean why... I just didn't understand... but then I was reminded that his ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts... and that he wants his people to know he is in control.... a reminder that we do not have to worry but trust in Him...

TRUST ME AND DON'T BE AFRAID ..... FOR I AM YOUR STRENGHT AND SONG!!!!!

SWEET MEMORIES............

The past 2 weeks have been alittle crazy....
we had February Fun the whole month of February and I try and be patient with it because I no how much the girls enjoy it but whew I was kinda glad when they where past.. 
they had.....
Cozy day..
Prayer partner day... "that was a fun one for them"
Dress up day...  Annalisa went as Saige , and Lyndi went as Maria Grace there American girls
Old fashion day....Annalisa went as Mary in the Bible..
Lyndi had Sibling day and took Laina which she really enjoyed...
Get a different name day..
Twin day...
Sunday best dress up day
Extra recess day..
Random acts of kindness day.. "and went to sing at the Harrison House"
Snack day..
100th day of school...
wow looking at it like that makes my head spin.... most of those where in Annalisa's class, Lyndi only had a few... but with all the snow days and 2 hour delays it was getting kinda confusing...

We had a few really beautiful spring like days and it was a real tease...
 then March came and what everyone was saying was to be the snow storm of the year but ended up only being a few inches.. and I was ready to stay put for a few days and totally get snowed in...

on Tuesday Evening, March 4th...we  said Good-By to My husbands Grandma... She was a dear old lady and will be Greatly missed.. It is bitter sweet.. you so long for her to meet her Maker and be free from pain and to be singing in the heavenly realms...  She would always greet you with a smile.. our children loved to sing for her and she would always give them alittle treat before we left for home... she was 91... Till we meet again..




Our Sunday Brunch... Fish on the Grill... In March..  It was a Beautiful Day....

 those were some big fishes...

This crazy guy... Love him to pieces... he definitely keeps me stepping.. he is so full of life and the things he says is just to much...  ok so I finally got him potty trained and the second nite buddy and him were ready to take a bath and bubba went potty and jumped in the tub then buddy went potty and bubba said...
buddy, did you pee on my pee?
buddy replies, Yes...
bubba gets all upset and says... THEN I NOT GONNA BE YOUR FRIEND........
Seriously I almost lost it .....

 

Then there's this sweet face to love on.... He is such a good baby... He seriously is a blast... and he might be little but he don't miss a thing, he watches his brothers and sisters every move.... He loves his swing.. and he giggled for the first time at Annalisa the other day... love a babies first giggle... how can he be 4 month old this week..  where does the time go...

We had a fun Sunday evening with Leon and Ruth Ann bringing supper thanks again... and Willy and Sue just stopping in for a visit was so fun catching up again with each other.....

off to catch some zzzzzzzzzzzzzz before the sun comes up....
