"SPRING FEVER"

It was that kinda day...

 

 

 Lots of sunshine,

 

 

 A balmy 50 degrees...

 

 

 

 A lovely day for a walk which of course ended up in a snow ball fight.....

 

 

 

An absolute beautiful Sunday.... 

 

The sunshine on my face...........

 

 

 It gave me the itch to open windows.. clean house.. do a little organizing.. maybe get rid of some things, and go by some more... but it was Sunday so I took it all in an enjoyed the moment...

 

After a big breakfast.. Daddy said we are all goin for a walk...

 for some reason it was pick on daddy kinda day.... again
                                    and again......

 this little could not keep his eyes open,  the bright sunshine was just to much for him....

 Just a taste of what this summer will be with these to................

 

Some food for thought....     He had been forgiven by God but chose not to live like a forgiven person... he allowed his sense of guilt handicap him as a parent... #bethmoorebiblestudy

This gave me something to think about... When we ask to be forgiven, Do we live like we are....

Be My Valentine.....

 

 So this year we decided to do something alittle different and have date nite at home with our kiddos.. and I have to say it was so relaxing... don't get me wrong I love eating out and having alone time with my hubby..but lets be real, asking someone to sit with our 6 kiddos is not the funnest... (even tho I do sometimes)....

 

 So I told the girls to help me out and we set the table all pretty and I made the meal of... shrimp, chicken alfredo,  potatoes, and a salad... we got the wine goblets out with sparkling cider.... and I have to say it on the top of my favorite valentines... I got roses from my love and chocolates which of course I had to share with my kiddos... so really I think this may have to be a start of a tradition.. Annalisa was already dreaming of what we could add to the décor next year..

 and then there's this sweet little face... baby Austin is 3 months old.. how can he be 3 months where oh where does the time go...  can it please just slow down..

 Today he giggled for the first time, and he loves attention, he can carry on a pretty long conversation, :)...He still sleeps all night.. which is a such blessing...

                      seriously those little toesyies..... Love them....

THE BEAUTY OF IT ALL...

All I could think this morn when I woke up was that song (Majesty).. it was breathtaking....  I lost track of the number of snow storms we had this year so far... but I do no one thing, they were all different but all beautiful in there own way....  this morning was the same, I got up to feed Austin and seen the sun coming up so I got his bottle and put daddy on the feeding duty and went for a walk... I just had to capture all the beauty around me.....  I felt like it was our valentine gift from God...  I mean think about it how could it be anymore perfect, snowed in on valentines day , hubby stays home, kids no school, and we did nothing but hang out....  (we did that yesterday to).....:)  but really it still awesome....

 

Snow was in the forecast,  starting late Wednesday  nite into Thursday tapering off around lunch time  and then hitting us again late Thursday nite... they where calling for 12 ~ 16 inches... plus the additional  4~6 inches from the second snow.. so school was cancelled for Thursday and we watched it snow, rain, sleet, I think it did all the above sometime through out the day... did crafts.. drank coffee.. and had a good day... I have to tell myself on days with no school that my work don't matter,,, to enjoy the moment.... then around dark it started snowing again... it was so pretty... and this is what we woke up to..... and once again school was cancelled...  so we made the best of it... and did nothing but hang out..:)   today I actually got a nap in snuggling with my baby dear....  so I am loving it....  come Monday it'll be time for school again :)    but if we really think about it what is our Lord trying to tell us.... they said that 49 states had snow, and some of the major cities they were telling people to stay home,  some of the big highways were shut down....   think about it....

I say there's close to 2 feet...  from what we had on the ground and then this snow... it deep out there peoples....  and now they say we could get another 3~5 Friday nite into Saturday.....  LOVE IT!!!!!

ICE STORM

This it the beauty we had around our home.....

We had another storm Tuesday night into Wednesday till around lunch time... we got a call that we have a 2 hour delay... then half hour before it was time to go we got another call that school is cancelled... the girls weren't to thrilled... after 5 snow or (ICE) days..:) they getting alittle tired of not having a real schedule... plus its February fun!!!!!!!!!!

but for this not so crazy for the ice but a  SNOW LOVIN girl.... I was in awe of Gods beauty... did you ever see anything like it...  10 inches of really wet snow from the Monday storm still really thick on the trees and topped with quarter inch of ice...

 I could not stop taking pictures......  Just breathtaking....  our pine trees took a beating but so thankful we didn't have a big tree down..

when we got up this morn the sun came out and made another beautiful picture that looked like ice jewels hanging on the trees...  and although we never lost power there are many people still without.....we got a call this morning from school ,there is no school because of no power but they told every one to come in for devotions so they can call it as a day of school.... so off to get something done today with my babysitters at home...:)

It's a BEAUTIFUL day....

It's a snow day...we got the call on Monday morning...  and lets just say it was a gorgeous snow day...
      I am absolutely in Love with this winter.... although the single digit temps were getting alittle old I would prefer the beauty of the snow and colder temps to the mud and dreary winters we have had already in the past...   I didn't get a thing done in January other then take care of my family and love on our baby and watch the snow fall.... but I LOVE it....

 this is what daddy does when he shovels snow... the kiddos get a shovel ride....

 

 the kids could play under the pine trees...  they thought it was the coolest thing....

 and then I showed them the picture Linda had on facebook of her kids and husband building a fort... well daddy had to get to work (smile) and they where out way past dark....they were loving it....

 Tuesday we had a 2 hour delay and we woke up to a absolutely BEAUTIFUL morning.... It was breathtaking looking out over the yard and the trees were still loaded with snow, O and the sunrise.....  SO PRETTY, only GOD could create such a masterpiece...

and then there's our little sunshine.... He is just a trip right now...  he loves attention which he has enough of people to get it from...  he loves to be cuddled... he coos and loves to carry on a conversation with mom.. I have a spot on the bar that I lay him when I work in the kitchen and he will stretch his neck to find me and will watch my every move...he is growing so fast, his weight 3 wks ago was 10lbs 4oz.. really need to weigh him again... he does really good at night sleeping 9 to 6 most nights..for the last 3 wks... last night he slept from 6pm to 6am this morning...  and he was a hungry little man....    we love you baby Austin.....
